About this Lab
Accelerate your people analytics skills and drive business outcomes by joining this four-week live acceleration lab. Each week is designed to simultaneously accelerate you and your career while providing easy to implement people analytics approaches to bring immediate value to your organization.
Join a group of peers for live sessions focused on skills and career acceleration. This lab is for anyone seeking to differentiate themselves and their work by leveraging people analytics skills.
You will identify your own personal people analytics strengths, build a career and development plan, and have an opportunity for peer coaching. Each week you will also receive industry expert designed processes guiding you on how to: build a business case using analytics, use analytics to measure progress, change, & ROI,
design a people analytics plan of action, proactively identify issues using people analytics, and address current challenges with people data.
This is not your typical people analytics course focused solely on learning new terms and concepts. This is an interactive lab focused on your skills, your career, and your ability to deliver results for your organization.
This Lab is designed for
- those early in their use of people analytics (whether new to working in general or seasoned professionals who are just new to people analytics),
- those in HR or a people leader roles who want to incorporate more analytics into their work and skillset (e.g., recruiting, learning, HR managers, etc),
- those currently using people analytics, who are unsure which career path or skills might suit them best to focus on.

Weekly Online Live Sessions:
US: Thursday at 1.10 -2:50pm (PDT), 4:10-5:50pm (EDT)
Australia: Friday at 8:10-9:50am (AEDT)
NZ: Friday at 10.10 – 11.50am (NZDT)
There will be 1-2 office hours available weekly for personalized meetings, feedback and coaching. Estimated time outside of training will be between 1-3 hours effort between sessions.

Heather Whiteman, PhD is an expert in People Analytics, Talent Transformation, and the Future of Work. Heather teaches People Analytics at UC Berkeley Haas and serves as a Fellow at Future Workplace. She has a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and PhD in Human Capital Management. focusing on the science of people at work. She has held executive roles leading People Analytics, Talent Management,
Learning & Development, HR Operations and HR Technology at companies like General Electric (GE), PG&E, and more through consulting partnerships. Heather has led organizations through hyper-growth, digital transformation, mergers, acquisitions & restructuring with the use of advanced, data driven talent
management techniques. Heather’s passion and focus lies in helping organizations prepare for the challenges of the future of work, digital talent transformation and in enabling a new future driven by data and people analytics insights.
