Developing Your People Analytics Career Lab Identifying & Developing the Necessary Skills

Identifying & Developing the Necessary Skills.

About this Lab

Want to study why candidates turn down offers at a certain stage? Or, what makes the most effective sales team member? Maybe you want to measure the impact between two different learning programs to see if one is truly better than the other? If you have questions that you are looking to answer not just with data, but with true methodological rigor so that you can speak about your findings with the confidence of a scientist, then this lab will help you get there!

Maybe you have some data on these items but aren’t sure if your analyses could stand up to questions like “How sure are you?” Or, maybe you’ve been itching to answer a question, but the information doesn’t exist yet and you have to design a way to study and measure it. Then, this lab is for you!

This lab is different than a workshop or online course. In it, you learn techniques as you work toward your own research outcome. You learn alongside others who can inspire and guide you with their own thoughts and ideas along the way. It’s the perfect blend of structured learning and interactive group discussions. You will come away with more knowledge and know-how while you build your network and understanding of the ways individuals at other organizations are bringing workforce research into their organizations. Think of this as a course, consulting, networking and mastermind group all rolled into one!

Over 4 weeks, you will receive curated learning content from your lab leader: videos, readings, and exercises. You will also have weekly online live lab sessions where you and your colleagues learn from and with one another.

All levels of experience and job roles welcome. This course is designed for those excited to bring more science into the understanding of workforce elements. Regardless of your level of expertise doing research, you will leave with an understanding of how to bring science to the art of understanding people at work, you will be able to practice the skills you learn, and leave with your own research project plan that you can implement in your role.
