Inclusive Leadership

Inclusive Leadership Lab

After 6 weeks walk away with improved habits that foster heightened feelings of inclusion and belonging among diverse groups of peers, direct reports, supervisors, and other colleagues.

About this Lab

Schools and life experiences rarely present us with adequate knowledge and experience to effectively and consistently appreciate, honor, and celebrate our fellow workers diverse backgrounds, choices, and ways of being.  This course provides such knowledge along with exercises that elevate awareness of self, others, and situations.  Led by Al Adamsen,  this 5 week experience considers  relevant research on the brain and interpersonal intelligence and, in turn, offers experiences that help understand how one shows up to others and how they can create environments and situations, even virtually, that can be safe physically, emotionally, and psychologically.  This approach is rooted in Growth Mindset and Situational Leadership principles.  In the end, the learner will walk away with knowledge, tools, and techniques to go beyond safety to create environments and situations where people feel seen, heard, and empowered — that is, they feel included and feel that they truly belong.

Next Lab starts Tuesday, Feb 16th, 2021
