About this Lab
Learn how to deliver value to your organization via people analytics more quickly and more effectively than expected. This six-week synchronous online PAFOW Learning Lab is specially designed for founding people analytics leaders – an organization’s first formal people analytics leader. These leaders face specific challenges related to developing a strategy, laying infrastructure, driving change, and aligning stakeholders.
Join a small group of peer founding people analytics leaders for six live sessions led by a people analytics pioneer who has built industry-leading people analytics capability in three organizations across finance, healthcare, and technologies sectors.
Save yourself years of struggle and effort from someone who has already worked out what works and what doesn’t, based on twenty years of experience as a people analytics and HR leader and as a management consultant.
Learning Lab Objectives
- Learn how to read an organization and its culture in order to conduct a wholesome environmental scan that will form the basis of how you start and scale people analytics in a near-greenfield situation
- Learn how to develop a compelling vision and mission; a winning strategy; a comprehensive roadmap; and integrate these successfully with the organization’s strategy, performance framework, and enterprise technology roadmap
- Learn how to win stakeholders and drive change across HR and the business to overcome the unanticipated yet inevitable resistance that new people analytics team encounter
- Learn how to attract, nurture, grow a people analytics team and community of practice even in the face of budget constraints

Amit Mohindra is the founder and CEO of People Analytics Success, a leading global people analytics advisory, coaching, and education firm. Amit has built and led people analytics teams at Apple, McKesson, and Wayfair (ranked 4, 8, and 348, respectively, in the 2020 Fortune 500 list). Amit began his professional career as a labor economist at The World Bank and subsequently worked in business consulting and corporate HR for Goldman Sachs, IBM, Lucent Technologies, and Willis Towers Watson. He held global leadership roles in HR, total rewards, talent management, diversity & inclusion, M&A, operations, and mobility. He applies his engineering background and over 20 years of business and analytics experience in guiding organizations and individuals toward success in their talent management and people analytics journeys.
Amit teaches at Stanford Continuing Studies and the People Analytics & the Future of Work (PAFOW) Learning Lab. He has taught in executive educations programs at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He founded The Conference Board’s Intelligent Automation Executives Council and served as a Senior Fellow in Human Capital. Amit serves on several HR technology firms’ advisory boards and is an advisor to Semper Virens, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in workplace technology, healthcare technology, and financial technology companies with a strategy to sell to and through employers. He is a popular conference speaker.
Amit received a BS in electrical engineering and an AB in economics and business from Lafayette College and an MA in economics from Brown University. He will receive a doctorate in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California in May 2021. Amit and his family are based in Boston, Massachusetts.
